This notice is being communicated to remind you that the latest edition of the Annual Security Report (ASR) has been filed with the U.S. Department of Education for Middle Georgia State University (MGA). In accordance with federal law, the MGA Police Department has made the Annual Campus Safety Report and the Campus Fire Safety Right-To-Know-Act Report available for examination. Both reports contain information regarding campus security and personal safety. Topics include crime prevention, fire safety, campus law enforcement authority, crime reporting policies, disciplinary procedures, and other matters of importance related to the security and safety of MGA. The reports also contain crime statistics for the three previous calendar years and address crimes that occurred on campuses, in relevant off-campus buildings, property owned or controlled by the University, and on public property within or immediately adjacent to and accessible from each campus. Please remember that data is always collected from the full preceding calendar year. The 2016 ASR will reflect statistics captured from 2015.
