All University Systems of Georgia (USG) institutions have been invited to attend the Military Summit which will be held Monday, April 17, 2017, at Middle Georgia State University in the Professional Sciences Conference Center ion the Macon campus. Thus far, nearly two dozen institutions will attend the one-day summit.
The Military Summit will have representation from roughly half of the military bases located in Georgia and expect few more. Also represented will be the Georgia Air National Guard, Rosalynn Carter Institute, and Small Business Administration. The USG Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs is also expected to drop by. Summit participants will learn about best practices, updates on policies and laws (USG, state, federal), and network with their fellow military counterparts from across the state.
