Middle Georgia State University mourns the loss of Harlee Rae Strickland, a student in our Nursing program. Ms. Strickland passed on February 4, 2021.
This week, a memorial flag will be flown on all campuses in Ms. Strickland’s memory.
Starting January 1, 2021, Middle Georgia State University will honor the passing of a current student or a current employee by flying a special MGA memorial flag on all five campuses. When the week is over the flag will be taken down, placed in a special memorial display case and presented to the family of the deceased as a symbol of respect and remembrance.
