Introducing Dr. Rod McRae, Assistant Provost Faculty Development

As the new Assistant Provost – Faculty Development at Middle Georgia State University, Rod McRae brings over a dozen years of higher education teaching and experience to MGA.  In particular, his faculty development work focuses on supporting the ways faculty can enrich their instructional practices to enhance their students' learning. He believes in fostering a campus culture of collaboration and engagement by sharing evidence-based strategies, especially transparent practices and inclusive pedagogies that boost academic outcomes for all students. Rod and his wife Stephanie have three daughters and have recently relocated to the middle Georgia area.
