2022 MGA STEMposium: STEM Undergraduate Research Symposium

Friday, April 22 | 8am-1pm

Jones Building | Macon Campus

MGA's Department of Mathematics & Statistics and Department of Natural Sciences will host their 2022 MGA STEMposium–STEM Undergraduate Research Symposium–on Friday, April 22, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Jones Building, room 102 on MGA's Macon Campus. The STEMposium is a meeting to showcase undergraduate research being performed by students in the STEM fields here at MGA. This half-day, in-person event includes oral and poster presentation sessions from MGA undergrads (see schedule below).

This year, the STEMposium will include a special session presented by faculty who are implementing research projects in their undergraduate courses (called CUREs). The departments are excited to host their plenary speaker, Dr. Clive Bock, a plant pathologist at the USDA-Agricultural Research Service in Byron, GA, who frequently works with undergraduate students on projects involving Pecan tree pathogens.

Join us and hear about the exciting work being done by MGA STEM students!
