MGA's departments of Information Technology, Mathematics & Statistics, and Natural Sciences would like to invite you to our Second Annual STEMposium happening from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, April 21 on the University's Macon Campus in the Jones Building, room 102.

2023 STEMposium flyer.

The STEMposium is a meeting to showcase undergraduate research being performed by students in the STEM fields at MGA. This half-day, in-person event includes oral and poster presentation sessions from our undergrads (see schedule below). We also have a special session presented by faculty who are implementing research projects in their undergraduate courses (called CUREs). We are excited to host our plenary speakers Hannah Reaves (Math), Andrew Goodman (IT), and Joshua Sisco (Natural Sciences) - all alumni from MGA STEM programs! Our speakers all worked with faculty here at MGA in their respective fields as undergraduate researchers and are excited to share their current work with us.

Come and hear about the exciting work being done by our MGA STEM students, faculty, and alumni!

Please reach out to one of our STEMposium Committee members with any questions: Dr. Christine’ Rigsby, christine.rigsby@mga.edu; Dr. Joshua Harrelson, joshua.harrelson@mga.edu; or Dr. Alan Stines alan.stines@mga.edu.
