On Monday, April 3, MGA hosted Historian and Documentary Film Producer, Dr. Malinda Maynor Lowery of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina for a screening of her short films Real Indian (1996) and Sounds of Faith (1997), followed by a Q&A session. The event was a part of the University's 2023 Arts Festival, hosted by the School of Arts &Letters.
