On Saturday, May 6, MGA Knights softball defeated the Rams of Mobile to win their first SSAC Championship in history, earning them an automatic spot in the NAIA Opening Round!
The Knights went on to compete in the NAIA Opening Round on Wednesday, May 17, where they were looking for the win to make it into the championship game. The Knights lost in the opening round, where their season would come to an end with a record of 43-14, the most wins in school history.
