MGA Welcomes New Project SEARCH Interns

A warm welcome from MGA to the new class of Project SEARCH interns on our Macon Campus! Project SEARCH is a partnership between the Bibb County School District and the University to give young adults with developmental challenges the opportunity to gain real-world work experience.

Over the several years MGA has hosted the program, interns have worked in the cafeteria, bookstore, library, and other departments. Project SEARCH’s goal is to help the interns qualify for competitive, integrated employment and develop as much independence as possible after completing the program.
