MGA English Professor Lands Book Deal with Putnam

Andy Davidson continues to make headlines! Davidson, author and assistant professor of English at MGA, has landed a new three-book contract for his horror novels with Putnam, as announced by Publisher Weekly.

"In one of her first acquisitions in her new role as executive editor at Putnam, Daphne Durham has bought world rights to three novels by popular Southern gothic horror writer Andy Davidson. The deal was negotiated by Elizabeth Copps at Copps Literary Services. Putnam said the first book in the deal, The Vampire and the Robot, 'finds a pair of unlikely heroes setting off across a monster-ravaged landscape to protect the world’s last human child.' The novel will be published in summer 2025."

Congratulations, Andy!
