May 2024 will see a huge change to the Cochran Campus! Haynes Hall, vacant since 2013, will be demolished and a new green space will be created for students.
MGA Facilities announced that the project is scheduled to begin with fencing installed on May 8, and actual demolition taking place May 15-June 4. Parking and pedestrian traffic in front of Haynes Hall may be impacted during this time.
This is an exciting moment in MGA's continued growth! The new green space is designed for students to enjoy a peaceful retreat away from traditional academic settings. According to studies, these tranquil environments help improve academic performance and create a more engaging and welcoming atmosphere while positively impacting students' mental health.
