MGA's Department of Information Technology, Department of Mathematics & Statistics, and Department of Natural Sciences invites the campus community to the 3rd Annual STEMposium, 8 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., Friday, April 19 on the Macon Campus, Jones 102.

MGA STEMposium flyer.

The STEMposium is a meeting to showcase undergraduate research being performed by students in the STEM fields here at MGA. This half-day, in-person event includes oral and poster presentation sessions from undergrads and presentations by faculty who are implementing research projects in their undergraduate courses (called CUREs).

The departments are excited to host plenary speakers Jenna Piper (IT), William Farran (Math), and Brittany Davis (Natural Sciences), all alumni from MGA STEM programs. Speakers all worked with faculty here at MGA in their respective fields as undergraduate researchers and are excited to share their current work with us.

Please come and hear about the exciting work being done by MGA STEM students, faculty, and alumni!

Have questions? Please reach out to one of the STEMposium Committee members: Dr. Christine’ Rigsby (christine.rigsby@mga.edu), Dr. Joshua Harrelson (joshua.harrelson@mga.edu), or Dr. Alan Stines (alan.stines@mga.edu).
