MGA Professor Serves as Keynote Speaker at Annual Georgia Jug Festival Luncheon

This May, Dr. Susan Asbury, assistant professor of history, was the keynote speaker at the Crawford County Historical Society's Annual Georgia Jug Festival luncheon.

13WMAZ provided coverage of the event.

"'I think it's really important to support local art,' Asbury said. 'It's also important to think about the ways in which it's transformed over time, both in how the maker and the artist has transformed that craft but also in how we use those objects in our everyday life.'"
