For the tenth consecutive year, MGA and Macon-Bibb County celebrated Veterans Day by honoring those who served with a Service of Remembrance on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at Coleman Hill in downtown Macon.

"Middle Georgia State University President Dr. Christopher Blake spoke about the importance of remembering those who served.
"'I think we need to realize that those that came before us helped us to have the world that we can enjoy today,' Blake said. 'They worked hard to protect our liberties and our freedoms, and today, we owe it to continue that tradition.'"
