On National Healthcare Decisions Day, April 16th, and following this day will be events held on all five campuses to educate MGA students on its importance. We will be celebrating April 16- 22, 2017.
Professor Chris Tsavatewa’s Health Communication and Professor Cory Smith’s Psychology students worked diligently on a research project focused on educating their peers on the necessity of an Advanced Care Directive.
April 17, 2017- Warner Robins– Oak Hall and Thomas Hall ( Room 115) 9am-12pm
April 18, 2017- Macon– Starbucks Lobby- PSC 10am- 2pm
April 19, 2017- Cochran -Dillard Hall- 11am -4pm
April 20, 2017-Eastman-Main Lobby-11am-1pm
April 20, 2017- Dublin– Main Lobby- 11am-1pm
There will be partners on site to help students fill out a directive and also answer any questions that students may have. Educational information packets that will be provided as well as candy and prizes. Students can also take a survey over their knowledge of directives.
