I am pleased to announce the 8th annual Coming to America panel, Monday October 7th at 6:30 pm in the Dillard auditorium room 130, Cochran Campus. In this panel, I’ll be interviewing faculty members that were born and/or raised in other countries. We discuss cultural differences and similarities between the US and their home countries.
Traditionally I interview first generation immigrants. This year the focus is a little different. I’ll be interviewing the 1.5 generation, folks born elsewhere, but came to America at a very young age.
We have a new participant, Edwynn Wallace who was born in the Philippines. Returning guests are Trino Prados born in Columbia, and Daniel Lin who was born in Kansas, but lived in Taiwan through elementary school.
Thank you very much for your time!
