Over at the Macon Writing Center, TEB 226, there will be a workshop teaching students how to write an abstract. Here is a short definition of what an abstract is: “Abstracts are short representations of a larger project or paper, and are used on a regular basis.” The event will take place on November 4th at 4:30 pm. This workshop will help those students who are wanting to apply to MGA’s Undergraduate Conference coming up next semester since submitting an abstract is part of the process. All majors and writing styles, MLA, APA and more, are welcome to attend.
The workshop will be taught by Dr. Shane Trayers, Dr. Laura Thomason, and Dr. Kathleen Burt.
