The English Department would like to share the latest accomplishments and highlights that have transpired thus far during the summer.
- Dr. Christopher Cairney, the assistant chair of the English Department, is the invited Keynote Speaker at the 11th World Conference on Educational Sciences which will take place in Italy (Florence and Milan) on February 7-10, 2019. Dr. Cairney’s talk will be on “A Phenomenology of Reception for Student Engagement: Intertextuality and Intratextuality as Hermeneutic Tools in Literary Analysis.”
- Culture in Focus has been assigned an ISSN number and will be referenced in the Library of Congress catalog.
- Culture in Focus will collaborate with the 11th World Conference on Educational Sciences and is included in the list of Supporting Journals.
