Anthony Narsing, associate professor of management in the School of Business, was recently elected as club president for the Central Georgia Soccer Association (CGSA) during its annual meeting in Warner Robins. He will serve a two-term in this volunteer position for CGSA, which has over 2,000 registrations yearly for both its youth and adult soccer programs. Dr. Narsing, who previously served as the club’s treasurer for four years, also successfully secured a $5,000 grant from the Flint Energies Foundation in early spring to help with capital acquisitions for the soccer club. Flint Energies is a not-for-profit electric cooperative owned by its members in parts of 17 central Georgia counties. Congratulations Dr. Narsing!
