Applications being accepted for faculty to teach study abroad programs

The European Council of the University System of Georgia is now accepting faculty applications for its 2017 summer study abroad programs. Please see the following link for complete instructions and the application form:

The application deadline is March 24, 2016. Faculty who are selected will be notified by mid-April 2016 and will attend three orientation/training meetings during the 2016–2017 academic year.

As you consider this opportunity please be aware of MGA’s current study abroad compensation policy, which is as follows:

Study abroad program faculty are expected to recruit 12 students or the equivalent of 36 credit hours (one 3-hour course per student). Compensation for each course will be 10% of the faculty member’s base pay. Compensation for courses with fewer than 12 students or that generate less than 36 credit hours will be pro-rated.
