Arts Festival presents The Art of Business and a Collective Mural Project

Arts Festival 2018 is wrapping up this week with our last two events. Mark your calendars and come out and meet the owner of Ampersand Guild located in downtown Macon. Business owner and artist, Daniel Montoute will present a talk and an art demonstration on both the Cochran and Macon campuses.

Daniel Montoute is the owner of Ampersand Guild, which is also a partner of Middle Georgia State University. Ampersand Guild is a space for artists to create and display their art and performance. Ampersand Guild also leases space for public and private events. Mr. Montoute will share his experience as a local business owner in the arts. His talk will present subjects regarding:

Artist, Daniel Montoute, will demonstrate the process of creating a mural using multiple images and independent pieces, then collectively placing them in his work. It resembles a puzzle, also referred to as exquisite corpse, which is an adaptation of the original objects or works.
