On behalf of the School of Aviation, I would like to welcome your family to Sky Camp this summer. Each year we share our love of aviation by offering a three-day camp to middle school-aged children. Our campers enjoy three fun-filled, informative days of aviation-related activities.
The University System of Georgia (USG) has established an educational assistance program, the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP). The purpose of TAP is to foster the professional growth and development of its eligible employees. The tuition assistance program is available to full-time benefits-eligible employees of the USG who have successfully completed at least six (6) months of employment in a benefits-eligible position, as of the date of the TAP application deadline for the desired academic semester.
Following the program and lunch, they had their annual Greatness Awards which recognizes greatness within Student Affairs. Members of the Division of Student Affairs nominate their colleagues for these awards.
A group of Middle Georgia State University information technology majors recently took over Washington D.C. As part of an organized experiential learning trip designed to expose students to the cyber world at government agencies and non-profit organizations, a group of 11 students and 2 faculty explored D.C. for the week taking in the history of the nation’s Capital and applying what they learned in classes.
