Macon Artist, Wini McQueen, featured in Art Exhibit on Cochran Campus

MGA’s art faculty, which is a part of the Media, Culture & the Arts Department, hosts the 3rd art exhibition and artist talk with Macon resident, Wini McQueen. MGA Tennis Teams partner with Middle Georgia Tennis Association and Mercer University to conduct free tennis clinics

The MGA tennis teams partnered with the Middle Georgia Tennis Association and the Mercer University tennis team conducted two free tennis clinics for kids from the Macon area recently. This event is the second they have done in the last month, with a similar one in Warner Robins. 104 kids signed up in advance to participate! The MGA office of Media, Culture, & the Arts will sponsor a donation drive for the Rock On Rescue Animal Shelter of Middle Georgia. Middle Georgia State Adding Bachelor’s Degree in Contemporary Musicianship

Middle Georgia State University is launching a new four-year degree: the Bachelor of Arts in Contemporary Musicianship. The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia approved the degree at its October 11 meeting, which was held on the Macon Campus of Middle Georgia State (MGA).
