Black History Month Events

#MGA’s School of Arts & Letters and the Office of Student Life have teamed up to develop an incredible slate of activities to celebrate Black History Month. They include a “Diversity & Inclusion” art exhibit, a Macon black history trail walk, and a talk by Robertina Fletcher, a Civil Rights veteran and one of the “Stolen Girls” locked away in an abandoned jail in Leesburg, Ga., for 45 days for protesting racial segregation. All events are open to MGA students, faculty, and staff. Some events, where noted, are also free and open to the public.
