From Friday, May 3, through Sunday, May 5, Bike Walk Macon is hosting Jane’s Walk, a series of five walks around different areas in Macon. Each walk is led by citizens who will engage participants in conversation about the neighborhoods being explored on foot. All MGA students, staff and faculty are welcome to participate. Knight Writers 2019 brought Bleckley County High School freshman Honors English students onto the MGA campus for a day of instruction in poetry followed by a writing marathon.
The Multi-Cultural Association presents “Keeping You Encouraged,” a Community Appreciation Day Event in appreciation of veterans, law enforcement, educators, hospital workers, EMS/fire and city employees. Light refreshments will be provided. The event is open to the public.
Middle Georgia State University is proud to host the 2019 Cherry Blossom finale event – Tunes and Balloons. This year, MGA students, faculty, and staff will receive one free admission to the event with a current MGA ID card.

Congratulations to Warner Robins High School, the winner of the 2019 Academic Bowl sponsored by Middle Georgia State University! The annual competition draws public attention to high school scholarship while giving top students an opportunity to display their academic skills.
MGA hosted a regional event for Science Olympiad, one of the largest K-12 STEM organizations in the US, on Saturday, Feb. 16. High Schools around the state traveled to our Macon Campus to participate. Teams from each high school were given the opportunity to compete in 23 different events and allowed approximately five (5) hours to complete the entire event.
