SGA Presents “It’s On Us” Week

The Middle Georgia State University Student Government Association will be hosting the first ever “It’s On Us” week April 23-26, 2018. This week is aiming to raise awareness of sexual assault both on and off college campuses. We will have a combination of guest speakers and RADS classes across our five campuses, and we encourage students, alumni, faculty, and staff to attend!


Public Service Internship Ceremony

The Department of Teacher Education and Social Work, for the Public Service program will be sponsoring a Public Service Internship Ceremony at 6:00 pm, Monday, April 30th, 2018 in the Foundation Boardroom in the Student Life Center on the Macon campus.

During this event, the Placement Supervisors, as well the students will be honored with certificates and a catered dinner.


BSU Soul Cypher [THIS WEDNESDAY]

The Black Student Unification will be hosting the FIRST ever Soul Cypher competition at Middle Georgia State University.  This competition will be held on April 18, 2018, at 6 pm in the SLC Amphitheatre on the Macon Campus. Georgia Council of Graduate Schools Spring 2018 Conference

The Georgia Council of Graduate Schools Spring 2018 Conference & Meeting will be on April 19 – 20, 2018 at the Marriott City Center Hotel in downtown Macon.

The GCGS is comprised of administrators, faculty, and staff throughout the state who work in the area of graduate studies and MGA has had a strong presence in the GCGS for the past few years. Several MGA administrators, including Dr. Cantwell, Associate Provost and Dean of Graduate Studies, and faculty members who teach graduate classes are presenting at the Spring 2018 Conference. The annual conference provides an opportunity to share knowledge, expertise, and best practices


Arts Festival presents The Art of Business and a Collective Mural Project

Arts Festival 2018 is wrapping up this week with our last two events. Mark your calendars and come out and meet the owner of Ampersand Guild located in downtown Macon. Business owner and artist, Daniel Montoute will present a talk and an art demonstration on both the Cochran and Macon campuses.
