Aviation science major Ed Jolley, who recently donated bone marrow to help his father, is inspiring MGA classmates, staff and faculty with his determined dedication to his family and his studies.
Over Spring Break, Dr. Lacey Wallace and two nursing students, Callie Wilson and Walden Brown, traveled to Subirana Honduras on a mission trip with the United Methodist Volunteers in Mission. The group were able to visit a local clinic for a day, and assisted with triaging the patients, doing assessments and providing education to young women.
MGA graduate Jeffrey Harvey is public policy director for the Georgia Farm Bureau. He will talk about Georgia’s agriculture industry at the “Voices of Impact” lecture series on April 18th.
New Media major Kaitlyn Kelly, senior writer for MGA’s student newspaper and a reporter for the student video production office, is pursuing a career in film production.

A former dual-enrollment student, Morgan Baggett took a break from college after a temporary move away but has now resumed her pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree at the Dublin Campus of Middle Georgia State University.
As the duo representing Middle Georgia State University at the Collegiate Cup coding competition, Michael Koohang and Deep Patel built a platform designed to empower and connect educators by providing them with the tools and support they need to learn and teach computer science.
Active in student government and Dublin Campus activities, Brison Mills is a senior IT major at Middle Georgia State University and a U.S. military veteran.
