Did you know that each building on campus has a defibrillator?

Do you know how to use it in case of an emergency?

Would you like to become certified in CRP and the use of a defibrillator?

If you need a good reason, just watch the one or both of the videos below!

The Macon Campus will be holding a CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and AED (automated external defibrillator) training and certification on February 10th at 9:00 in PSC room 211A for faculty and staff.  The training will last approximately one hour and will be led by:

Charles Matson, PhD., RRT

Associate Professor Respiratory Therapy

Middle Georgia State College

Phone: (478) 471-2784 / Fax: (478) 471-2787

Dr. Matson will teach up to 15 to 20 individuals in the training and you will become certified.  It would be great to make sure we have at least one individual trained in each building on campus.  Therefore, a log of individuals who sign up and what building they represent will be  maintained.

Please email David Lanier the name, location, and department of the individual in your area(s) that would like to receive this wonderful life saving learning opportunity.  The class will be filled on a first come bases.
