Echo360 Active Learning Platform Faculty Training

Colleagues,

There will be an online training session held from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm on October 1st about the Echo360 Active Learning Platform that is now available to all MGA faculty. Middle Georgia State University has been piloting the use of Echo360 for lecture capture for several classes over the past year, and we are upgrading to their new Active Learning Platform next week. Attached are the objectives for the training. Due to the “hands-on” nature of the training, we are having to limit this session to 40 attendees and request that you register for the session at http://www.eventbrite.com/e/getting-started-with-the-echo360-active-learning-platform-tickets-10019166597

Registration is now open and we hope you will be able to join us! We will also be recording the session and may have opportunities for additional sessions should there be enough of a demand. Below are some other resources you may want to view in advance of the training to become more familiar with the features of the system –

Getting Started

You can access the following Getting Started video demonstrations and online help within ALP :

  • Instructor video demonstrations are located in this Vimeo album: https://vimeo.com/album/3330770 (check back often – we are always adding to the library)

  • Help contains very robust step actions and printable user guides for reference on how to use the Active Learning Platform. http://help.echo360.org

In addition, here are a couple “marketing” type materials that may help provide a frame of reference for the Active Learning Platform.
