Football team has 12 All-Americans, Mock coach of year

The National Club Football Association has announced its All-American teams, and the Knights landed 12 players on the 1st or 2nd All-American Teams.

The NCFA also named their administrative awards including NCFA Coach Of The Year, which was Knights Head Coach, Daniel Mock.

Mock earned the award in his first season with the Knights guiding the team to a 10-0 record, the Southern Athletic Conference Championship, and the NCFA National Championship.

The Knights had four players on the 1st Team All-American list and eight on the 2nd Team.  The list was as follows:

First Team:
QB – Eric Forrest (FR)- 74/128 (58% completion percentage) for 1097 yards & 12 touchdowns, 3 Rush TD, MVP NCFA National Championship Game
RB – Delvonsh’A Wright – 87 carries for 715 yards, 9 TD
OG – Anthony Davis (FR) – Started every game and played every down
LS – Aaron Cerda (FR) – Long snapped for all punts and kicks on the year, played DE and led team with 5 sacks and scored 1 TD on Fumble Return

Second Team:
WR – Kimetric Parks (FR) – 16 receptions for 297 yards, 4 TD
OG – Tocorian Sams (SO) – Started every game
C – Anthony Harlow – Started every game and played some defensive end
DE – Aaron Cerda – See above as Long Snapper
DE – Tyrell Deriso – 25 Tackles, 2.5 Sacks, 1 FF, 1 FR
LB – Alfred Patrick Jr – 35 Tackles, 1 Sack, 1 FF
K – Dimitris Yokaris (SO/Greece) – 21/23 XP on the season, 2/4 FG including 42 yards & 35 yards in NCFA Semifinals, Punted as well
Returner – Jatavis Owens – Led nation in punt return yards, 2 Punt return TDs, 1 Fumble Return for TD
