Greenlight A Vet

Middle Georgia State University is now participating in the Greenlight A Vet initiative. Every campus and/or location, including VECTR and the Macon FBO, now have at least one green light glowing proudly every night to show support for our military veterans.

For those who don’t know, this initiative highlights the significant contributions of our veterans who are are some of our nation’s bravest, hardest-working men and women. However, it’s hard to show them the appreciation they deserve when, back home and out of uniform, they’re more camouflaged than ever. Greenlight A Vet is a campaign to establish visible national support for our veterans by changing one light to green. I proudly have two green bulbs on my front porch and encourage you to do the same and have mapped not only my location but all of Middle Georgia State’s as well.

The locations are as follows:

Macon: Student Life Center

Cochran: Sanford Hall (2nd floor)

Dublin: Annex/front and porch

Eastman: MGA plane on the pedestal in front of the building

Warner Robins: Front of Academic Services Building

VECTR: Front of building

Macon FBO: Side entrance

If you have a chance, check out the locations at night and see them glowing steady and strong in support of our veterans. For more information, visit
