Health Trail Participants Fitbit Subsidy

Fitbit subsidies are available for participants who do not own a tracking device, and have not received a subsidy from a previous HealthTrails challenge.

The University System of Georgia has partnered with Fitbit® to offer you one discounted device.

Here’s how it works:

To request one discounted device, navigate to You must create a account that uses your University email address to request this device. Once you create a new Fitbit account, you’ll receive two email confirmations to your University email address to verify your new account. The email from will include a link to USG’s Fitbit store. Once you verify your email address, you can then select from various Fitbit devices at a discounted rate!

You can then connect your NEW Fitbit device to your HealthTrails account to begin tracking your steps throughout the 8 week program and beyond.

If you have questions about your order or shipments, contact Fitbit at or support; be sure to mention you’re ordering through the University System of Georgia.
