“K-Pop & BTS” – September 26th

“K-Pop & BTS”

6 PM, Thursday, September 26th, 2019

Math Auditorium (Macon Campus)

Presented by The School of Arts & Letters and The Department of Media, Culture, & the Arts

MGA faculty, students, and the off-campus community are cordially invited to “K-Pop & BTS” at 6 PM on the 26th of September in the Math Auditorium. Drs. Yunsuk Chae & Christian Kim (who teaches music at MGA) will present K-Pop music videos with cultural and musical commentary on the huge HD screen in the auditorium. With the rise of K-Pop (Korean popular music) and the increasing interest in the Korean language and the overall K-Culture, this presentation would be a fun, informative opportunity for the MGA and the off-campus community to experience the music in its cultural context.

Free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served while they last. Many thanks to Drs. Mary Wearn and Robert McTyre for supporting and funding the event.

For more information, contact Dr. Yunsuk Chae: yunsuk.chae@mga.edu or (478) 471-5797. See also the attached poster.

We look forward to seeing you at the event!
