Macon’s Dining Hall named Camelot Court

Camelot Court is the name of the new and improved Macon Campus dining hall, which opened this fall semester! MGA students submitted more than 265 suggestions for the new name. Camelot Court was submitted by Jessycka Peters, 34, a sophomore pursuing a B.S. in Business Administration. A staff committee chose the winner out of all name submitted. Peters wins 100 Dining Dollars for her submission. The renovated dining hall is now all-you-can-eat at one price, although grab-and-go individual items and beverage can still be purchased separately. The grand opening of Camelot Court will take place on Wednesday, August 16th, beginning at 11 am.

See flyer below for details.

Meal Plans

Over the summer MGA Dining Services has been hard at work improving the student dining experience across all campuses. We would like to make sure students are aware of three new opportunities that are available starting today:

1)      New Commuter Meal Plans: Commuters now have the option to purchase a new meal plan, using financial aid, through their SWORDS account. These plans allow “swipes” for either the Cochran or Macon all-you-can-eat dining halls as well as dining dollars for retail venues.

2)      New Meal Exchange Program: “Swipes” for all meal plans can now be used at retail restaurants (Subway, Papa John’s etc.) in lieu of dining dollars. Just choose a combo, swipe and be on your way!

3)      New All-You-Can Eat Camelot Court: The Macon dining hall has been renovated to an all-you-can-eat operation and is newly named Camelot Court. Please visit us for the GRAND OPENING on Wednesday, August 16th at 11:00 am in the Macon Student Life Center lobby for free food, prizes, music and more! See below invitation for details.
