MGA’s art faculty, which is a part of the Media, Culture & the Arts Department, hosts the 3rd art exhibition and artist talk with Macon resident, Wini McQueen. McQueen is known for her narrative quilts, using transferring techniques, that include hand-dyed accessories and revolves her work around women’s rights, race and society.
This event will be held at the Peacock Gallery of Russell Hall on the Cochran Campus, which is MGA’s housed art gallery. Not only will you be able to view the works of McQueen on Monday, November 13th, but the artist will travel to our Cochran campus and present a gallery talk. We hope you can make it!
