MGA Community Invited to Participate in Jane’s Walk

From Friday, May 3, through Sunday, May 5, Bike Walk Macon is hosting Jane’s Walk, a series of five walks around different areas in Macon. Each walk is led by citizens who will engage participants in conversation about the neighborhoods being explored on foot. The walks are inspired by Jane Jacobs, an urbanist and activist who championed a community-based approach to city building.

Bike Walk Macon is Macon-Bibb County’s first grassroots bicycle and pedestrian advocacy organization working to enhance mobility to create a more vibrant, healthy, and equitable city. Bike Walk Macon has become the city’s voice for all things biking and walking.

Bike Walk Macon has invited all Middle Georgia State University students, staff and faculty to participate in a Jane’s Walk.
