MGA History Professor in China as Visiting Scholar

Dr. George L. “Larry” Israel, #‎MGA associate professor of History, recently returned to the U.S. from China, where he spent time as a visiting scholar at Zhejiang University, one of the nation’s top institutions of higher learning. Israel was invited by Professor Dong Ping, Chair of the Center for Research on Chinese Thought and Culture and Center for Research on Chinese Buddhist Culture.

During his visit, Israel researched Ming (Dynasty) intellectual history and presented a class lecture.
