On April 17th, MGA will host renowned jazz trumpeter, Mr. Brad Goode.
Mr. Goode, a former cultural ambassador for Mayor Richard Daley of Chicago has been recognized as a major figure in the Chicago jazz scene with 16 recordings to his credit. He currently sits on the faculty of the University of Colorado, Boulder. He comes to MGA as part of his tenure as an Artist in Residence for the Jazz Association of Macon.
The schedule is as follows:
- 3:30 P.M.: Mr. Goode will sit in with and workshop the jazz ensemble. Location: Instrumental Rehearsal Hall, Music Building, Macon Campus
- 5:30 P.M.: Mr. Good will perform and lecture for The 16-25 Collective, an MGA music organization. Location: Rehearsal Hall, Arts Complex, Macon Campus
