In the past week, we have become aware of a potential trademark issue relating to the phrase Knowledge@Work. Rather than incurring legal expenses necessary to insist on the current name, the institution has decided that these resources would be better spent supporting experiential learning opportunities for our students. Therefore, Middle Georgia State University’s QEP will henceforth be known as Experiential Learning@MGA.
Please note: this change affects only the name of the QEP, and will have no effect on the programmatic delivery, efforts, or initiatives of the Office of Experiential Learning.
While we are discontinuing the name “Knowledge@Work,” the @-symbol-gear will remain, as before, an integral part of the QEP identity in the logos of our various initiatives.
We apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause. Over the course of the next few weeks you will notice the name change implemented across various media platforms. Should you have any questions, feel free to contact the Office of Experiential Learning at firstname.lastname@example.org.
