The Graduate Studies Council, a faculty group that consults with the Executive Committee, the Senate, and the Provost to develop policies and practices for graduate studies, requests nominations for new members beginning in the fall of 2018. The requirements for serving are as follows: nominees will
– be tenured or tenure-track;
– hold a terminal degree;
– should be a current faculty member teaching in the graduate program;
– serve for at least two years on the council; and
– have a strong record of (or significant potential for) scholarship, service, and teaching.
