Career Services and the Eastman School of Aviation collaborated with the Robins Air Force Base to provide a guided tour for 26 students, faculty, and staff on Tues., April 24th. The MGA Campus to Careers Exploration program is designed to expose students to the reality of what can be done with their degree in the workforce. Participants walked inside the C-5 (the largest aircraft owned by the US Air Force), toured several labs, and had private briefings from hiring managers discussing employment opportunities in Aircraft Maintenance, Commodities, Workforce Development, Machine Flight & Sheet Metal Manufacturing, and Software Maintenance. To date five exploration trips have been held; proposals for fall trips are now being accepted. Contact Dr. Melinda Moffett at email@example.com for more information.
