Student Parking Permits

All vehicles must properly display a valid Middle Georgia State University parking permit to park on campus. If your vehicle already has a Middle Georgia State University Permit, please be sure to verify that it is still valid by checking the expiration date on the decal. The most current MGA Parking Decal expires August 15, 2019. If your vehicle has this permit properly affixed, you are not required to obtain an additional permit until Fall 2019.

Permits are available at the MGA Police Department on the Macon, Cochran, Eastman, and Dublin Campuses or in the Administrative Office of the Academic Service Building on the Warner Robins Campus. You will need to be able to provide your MGA student I.D. number and the vehicle description including the current tag number. Office hours for all locations are Monday through Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Fridays. Permits for Resident Students must be obtained from the campus they will be residing on. Each student is eligible to receive two permits per academic year as part of their tuition fees. Additional permits may be obtained for $10 each. Middle Georgia State Police Officers are available 24 hours a day to assist with questions or concerns and may be reached at 478-471-2414 (Macon Campus), 478-934-3002 (Cochran Campus), 478-374-6403 (Eastman Campus), 478-274-7751 (Dublin Campus), or 478-731-9901 (Warner Robins Campus) for permit issues outside of normal business hours.

All students are required to obtain and display the current Middle Georgia State University Parking Permit by the 5th calendar day of each new semester in accordance with MGA parking policies.  After such time, citations will be issued to vehicles that are not in compliance. If you are driving a temporary vehicle, you should report to the MGA Police Department immediately to obtain a free temporary pass.  Remember, ALL vehicles on campus are required to be registered at ALL times.

If you have any questions, please contact the Middle Georgia State University Police Department by e-mail at police@mga.edu. Students are required to read and abide by the full Middle Georgia State University Parking Policy.
