The University System of Georgia (USG) is implementing a system-wide well-being initiative for the betterment of our institutions, our employees, and their families. The USG seeks to improve well-being by providing opportunities and resources to enhance health and wellness with healthy habits.
In 2016, USG employees with BlueCross BlueShield of Georgia (BCBSGa) healthcare coverage will have access to these new benefits.
Active members may now access their membership statements online via their TRS account. The statements provide valuable account information, such as an account balance, the lump-sum value of an account, estimated benefit projections, as well as beneficiary and service credit information.
This year, you can enroll in your 2016 benefits through Open Enrollment between Monday, November 2, and Friday, November 13.
Open Enrollment is scheduled for November 2, 2015 through November 13, 2015. Comparison guides are available starting this week.
The deadline for TAP applications for Spring 2016 is November 16, 2015.
TRS will hold a Pre-Retirement Workshop on Tuesday November 3 from 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. in the Mathematics Auditorium. Individual Counseling Sessions will be held on Wednesday, November 4 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Jones 210 and PSC 203C.
