The MGA Brightspace system will be completely offline December 20th & 21st to undergo an upgrade from version 10.7.0 to 10.8.8 (eighteen minor versions). This upgrade will include some new features as well as increase the ease of use in many areas for both faculty and students. Brightspace will retain the same look and feel.
Starting May 10th, Brightspace will have a new look called Daylight.

This tool integrates nicely with Brightspace and allows students to work on basic writing issues like grammar, punctuation, and citation at their own pace. This presentation will demonstrate how InQuizitive works and guide attendees through the process of setting it up in a new course.

Good News! Coming in January 2018, you will have one less password to remember! Your MGA credentials will be used to log in to Brightspace/D2L, it will be just like logging into your student e-mail. More details on the new login process for Brightspace/D2L will be released in the coming months.

The Library has added an extremely useful new GALILEO integration to Brightspace/D2L. It’s called Curriculum Builder. Basically, faculty can create a reading list—or several—within their Brightspace/D2L courses wherever they need one.
The MGA Brightspace (D2L) system will be off-line from December 19 (12:01am) until December 31 (5:00pm) for system upgrades. Users of the system are asked to please schedule your work accordingly.
