On Thursday, November 8th, The Office of Career Services and the Office of Alumni Affairs debuted their “Voices of Impact” Lecture Series with guest speaker, Dr. Vernard Hodges. Dr. Hodges shared his amazing journey detailing the circumstances he was born into and the choices he made as an adolescent, which almost led him down the wrong path. He also shared how he was able to shift his values and goals, which led to him successfully starting up multiple business ventures, such as starting a real estate holding company which has grown into a multi-million dollar company consisting of several apartment complexes and commercial properties.

The Office of Career Services is very pleased to announce that Mr. William Johnson has joined the Office of Career Services staff as a full-time Career Advisor on the Cochran campus in Sanford 112.
Amani Baker, majoring in air traffic management, works in MGA’s Career Services office and is active in student government and with the Campus Activities Board.

Career Services and the Eastman School of Aviation collaborated with the Robins Air Force Base to provide a guided tour for 26 students, faculty, and staff on Tues., April 24th. The MGA Campus to Careers Exploration program is designed to expose students to the reality of what can be done with their degree in the workforce.
