Middle Georgia State University is hosting our inaugural MGA Day of Service as an opportunity for our MGA faculty, staff, and students to give back to the communities in which we live, work, and study.
On Thursday, October 25th, join the nation in celebrating the power of shared literacy by participating in Read For The Record – Central Georgia (#RFTRCG) and encouraging readers to spend about a half hour of time reading this year’s book, Maybe Something Beautiful, at a local elementary or primary school. The book will be provided by schools and a digital version will be available to readers for review.
If you are a Georgia resident, Tuesday, Oct. 9, is your last chance to register to vote if you want to vote in the Tuesday, Nov. 6, elections for Georgia governor and other state offices. Keep reading if you need to check your registration status or would like to register.
You must register to vote by October 9 in order to vote in Georgia’s November 6 general election for governor and other state officers. Georgia residents can register to vote or check their registration status at https://registertovote.sos.ga.gov/.
The next meeting of the MGA Rotaract Club will be on October 3rd at 6:00 p.m. in PSC 329 in the School of Information Technology on the Macon Campus.
