D2L/Brightspace Training will be held in Macon on Fridays in September between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. for faculty and staff. The Library has added an extremely useful new GALILEO integration to Brightspace/D2L. It’s called Curriculum Builder. Basically, faculty can create a reading list—or several—within their Brightspace/D2L courses wherever they need one.
The MGA Brightspace (D2L) system will be off-line from December 19 (12:01am) until December 31 (5:00pm) for system upgrades. Users of the system are asked to please schedule your work accordingly.
To help you prepare for the upcoming semester, the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning will be hosting multiple Brightspace/D2L Open Lab workshops and training opportunities this month (as well as sessions throughout the semester).
Step-by-step instructions are available for students or former student who no longer wish to receive text messages on their cell phone from the college’s D2L mobile messaging system.
