One 137 students from five states and 14 colleges and universities competed in the University of North Georgia’s 24th Annual Mathematics tournament on Saturday, April 7, 2018, on the Gainesville campus.
Middle Georgia State University placed second among 37 competing teams in the afternoon team competition and fourth overall for the tournament.
Competing students from Middle Georgia State University were Wade Lee, Shani Edmond, Tevin Fudge, John Verboom, Benedict Tong, Gabriel Loos, Ryota Tsutsumi, Marquis Brown, and Jahbari Wallace.
All online mathematics courses require three proctored exams during the semester. The day/time indicated in the course schedule is reserved for proctored testing. The Department of Mathematics offers proctored testing at the Macon, Cochran, Warner Robins, and Dublin campuses.
