Clothesline Project: T-Shirt Design Day

On April 16th, from 10:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M., join us outside of SLC on the Macon Campus to design a t-shirt in support of victims and survivors of violence for the Clothesline Project, a visual vehicle that provides awareness that incest, domestic violence, and sexual violence exist in our communities while also giving a voice to those who have been forcibly silenced.


Dr. Elaina Behounek Speaks on the Safety of Women

Dr. Elaina Behounek, assistant professor of sociology and criminal justice, just returned from New York City where she spoke at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women Parallel Event. Behounek provided a global overview of the status of women and girls in regard to safety in educational settings as part of a panel for the United Nations 63rd Commission on the Status of Women and Girls.
