Offices that provide direct enrollment services to students will be open extended hours the week of August 10-14, 2015.
We are six weeks away from the start of the fall 2015 semester…our first ever as Middle Georgia State University! As of today, July 6, 2015, we are seeing across the board increases for fall.
Overall, summer enrollment is down 2%. The good news: we saw a jump in new students and next year students will be advised for spring and summer at the same time.
Fall registrations are proceeding well! This week should see us surpass the 5,000 student mark. Keep up the great work in reaching out to our current students and assisting with new student advising, registration, and orientation. We are significantly up in new student and current student registrations compared to this same time last year so let’s keep this going…reminder that our fall enrollment goal is 3% above last year. As of June 15, 2015, we are -2% from our final USG Census date for Summer 2014. Census date this year is July 8, 2015 so these numbers may fluctuate a little over the next few weeks. Areas of growth include new transfers, new transient students and online course enrollments.
Full Session no shows will be due Tuesday June 9th by noon. We have moved to a new process for reporting No Shows.
Summer 2015 registrations are progressing well. We continue to show a positive increase in registration numbers compared to the similar time frame last year.
